Dr. Kiran Radia serves as the Founder, Chief Pathologist, and CEO of Pathcare Kenya Limited. She completed her postgraduate training at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, where she earned her Membership and Fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists. Her medical career spans decades of clinical practice, academic instruction, and business leadership.
She began as a Medical Educator and Researcher, lecturing students at the University of Nairobi’s Department of Pathology in 1986. Following 16 years of developing laboratory services at a private institution, she founded Pathcare Kenya Limited in 2002.
Under her direction, Pathcare secured international accreditation in 2004. This made it the first private laboratory in Kenya, East, and Central Africa to meet the ISO 17025 standard. Today, her organization operates a nationwide network of 52 branches. This expansion provides individuals in remote regions of Kenya direct access to accurate diagnostic testing.
Dr. Radia strongly advocates for early disease detection. She designs tailored health screening packages that allow individuals and corporate groups to monitor their physical condition before severe symptoms appear.
At the upcoming Women Health Awareness Summit on April 25, Dr. Radia will present on health and wellness for women. Her session begins at 9:30 AM. You will learn practical methods to use early screening and proactive healthcare to manage your personal wellbeing. Review your current health screening records before you attend so you can identify gaps in your medical history and bring specific questions to her presentation.
